What is My Easy Invoice?

My Easy Invoice is an internet-based billing and invoice program for small and home-based buinesses. With My Easy Invoice you can easily invoice your customers and collect your sales/accounts receivable balances from your customers. For a small monthly fee, you can create invoices, email invoices and collect your money. Billing your customers and collecting the money owed to you could not be easier.

Why just a Billing program?

Sales / Accounts Receivable is the one accounting function that tends to be unique amoung the accounting functions. Most small companies can use the various functions of an accounting program (e.g., ledger, accounts payble or payroll) without any particular modifications. And many small or home-based businesses don't even need an accounting program.

If you don't know that a Debit increases a Cash account or that a Debit increases an expense account, then you probably shouldn't use an accounting program.

But you can use a Sales / Accounts Receivable like My Easy Invoice. Billing for the Avon representative is different from billing for weekly shopper which is different than a independent sales rep or an Amway dealer. All can use a generic general ledger and payroll/payables are generally the same for most small businesses. But billing is not nearly so standard. My Easy Invoice is not currently a complete accounting program. I recommend Peachtree Complete Accounting or Quickbooks Accounting if you need a complete accounting program for general ledger, accounts payble or payroll. But My Easy Invoice will generate sales/receipts reports for use with your accounting program.

And now My Easy Invoice comes with the ability to duplicate an existing invoice. For example, if you have a customer who you have previously billed before and orders the same services/products from you again (or nearly the same), you can easily find that invoice and click the "Copy" button and My Easy Invoice will display that invoice for you to make any changes.

You can change anything on that invoice like the invoice date, due date, or maybe just the quantity or rate or part or all of the description. When you click the save button My Easy Invoice will create a new invoice. Creating an invoice could not be easier!

Or maybe you have an invoice that is the same except you need to bill 10 or 20 different customers. Say you have an "event" of some kind that you need to create an invoice that will be the same for each customer (you can actually change anything in the invoice, not just the customer). With My Easy Invoice you would create the invoice once. and then retrieve that invoice and just change the Customer Number and save again.

For example, find that invoice and click the Copy button. When the invoice appears, change the customer number and My Easy Invoice will automatically change the customer information on the invoice. Save the changes and My Easy Invoice will present you with the Copy button again. Click the Copy button to repeat the process until you have billed all of the customers you need to bill.

You can also set up customers to be billed on a regular basis. Create an invoice template for each customer will all the billing information (just needs to be done once) and then select that template when the customer is to be billed. Then just select the Recurring Billing from the menu and My Easy Invoice will walk you thru the recurring billing process.
